When writing this I wanted the elements (earth, air, fire, water) to be represented abstractly as opposed to blatantly mentioning them.
Then again, even when I was mentioning them bluntly, they still seemed a bit "overly poetic."
Which is what this song was about (at least to me). Being unable to mention the exact concept I'm thinking of without making it a god damn riddle, or dream like speech.
