I,
American Frankenstein
   Your post-Modern Prometheus
Am I acting outing of line?
As I break this realm with bare hands
I,
American Frankenstein
   Your post-Modern Prometheus
Am I running out of time?
Sand is draining from my frail hands

This obsession is leaving me closed
As I open the door and leave worlds exposed
Heart wounds and toxic fumes
               Moxie fugues and sparks glowed
I wear them on my vests of hand-me-down dinged clothes
This world is an IOU and I know you know you are owned
In spite of the cold bolt calculative cobalt metaphor shown
I guess you can only shrink if your willing to make it all grow
Reanimating the future of all these dead hopes
I'll see you in the Arctic ice with skull and crossbones
Cross my heart and run amok grim reaping what I sow
Sue me or soothe me or soon see the sewn sea
Rough water storytellers hush as they speak of me
Whispers are echoed and amplified passively
Casually calling me causal call for casualty
Callously refer to me as a haughty hottie of insanity
Let me be your tranquility to my remedy

Live maddened ever after captured in a frozen filter
Framing maidens made in whispers
Framed for crimes in sated laughter
Morning comes too late equating with the moon rise
Sun sets our fate in stark split paths of dark white lies
Reviving bit and pieces brings peace to these odd eyes
Patriotic parrot speeches preaching of the prior times
Passing fists with pacifists hunting witches and terrorists
Flint locked and loaded stone cast by the sinless corporations
Individual is dead
Indivisible is gone
Shields are symbolizing dread
Invisible to wrong
I have made a creature she calls himself Freedom
They are melting into former shadows of itself
My fellow sailors this is your captain speaking
I hope you enjoy the ocean floor because this ship is leaking
Maybe one day I'll be gone, but until then
I'll find mother Eve in a shipment to tell her I-
... or: a political poem filled with intertext and anger! Woo-hoo ire!

In case if it's not obvious, the person who wrote this lives in the United States.
